1. Information We Collect
We collect information to facilitate the matching of creators and brands and to operate our eCommerce media pipeline. This includes:
For Creators
- Registration details (via Clerk auth)
- Sizing profiles (clothing, shoe, and fit sizes)
- Shipping address (for campaign product deliveries)
- Connected social handles and verified OAuth metrics
For Brands
- Shopify store domain and authorization tokens
- Store metadata (logo, name, and vertical)
- Campaign and brief specifications and catalog references
- Storefront analytics metrics
2. How We Use Your Data
The Style Drop uses collected information for the following core purposes:
- Discovery & Matching: Listing campaigns to eligible creators and helping brands review applicants and send invites.
- Product Logistics: Generating zero-cost orders in the brand's Shopify store when a campaign ships product, and providing shipping updates.
- Publishing: Embedding approved creator content on brand PDPs and ranking it in the storefront carousel.
- Payments: Processing creator payouts and brand billing securely via Stripe Connect.
3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to execute collaborations:
- With Matched Partners: A matched creator's shipping details and sizes are shared with the brand so it can ship campaign products.
- Public Storefronts: Approved outfit media, styling descriptions, and creator handles are published on the brand's live storefront.
- Service Providers: We integrate secure, vetted third-party handlers (such as Clerk for identity verification and Stripe for payments and payouts).
4. Data Security & Storage
Security is fundamental to our platform integrity. The Style Drop implements industry-standard safety practices:
- Tokens and OAuth credentials are fully encrypted at rest.
- Authentication operations run securely inside Clerk session guards.
- Creative media is stored in secure, edge-distributed storage (Cloudflare R2) and delivered via optimized CDNs.
5. Cookies & Tracking Pixels
The Style Drop implements custom tracking solutions on participating Shopify storefronts:
Our native Shopify Web Pixel tracks interaction events (such as outfit impressions, look clicks, and associated add-to-carts). This tracking is strictly used to attribute sales to creator styling content and compute brand ROI metrics. We do not track visitors across unrelated websites or build behavioral advertising profiles.
